The owners of a restaurant in Halifax say the’ve lost £60,000 in takings due to building works has been taking place right outside their premises. Cousins Lino and Antonio Massimo have run the Italian restaurant Sapore in the town centre for nine years say the disruption of building work has been a nightmare. Calderdale Council says major roadworks will make journeys for pedestrians, car drivers and cyclists quicker and safer through Halifax town centre.
