Cancer Recovery

A new treatment service has launched in South Yorkshire which aims to give people diagnosed with cancer the best chance of overcoming the disease. It's called Active Together and tailors an exercise and nutrition programme for each patient along with psychological support. The project is being funded by the charity Yorkshire Cancer Research and will benefit a thousand people a year who're given a cancer diagnosis.

Queen - York School

I've been to Manor Church of England Academy in York to talk to students about how they're feeling about the Queen's death. Teachers been holding assemblies and talking to pupils about the monarch's passing.

Princes Trust

This week we filmed with Ben Jewers-Pettinger from Leeds who is a Prince's Trust Ambassador. He's gone from not leaving his house for 2 years due to suffering deep depression and anxiety to speaking with Prince Charles before he became King.

Leeds Festival

I reported on the disorder at Leeds Festival. Tents were set on fire and we were told bottles and rocks were thrown as trouble flared at the festival.
