Air Pollution

In April this year air pollution in Sheffield was more than double the legal limit. Academics from the University of Sheffield Urban Flows Observatory along with a group of volunteers have installed more than two hundred and fifty air pollution monitors and the city now has the highest number of low-cost sensors in the UK. Real-time data generated by the monitors is accessible to the public to encourage us to change our habits.
