Gambling Suicide

The Government could be held liable for the suicide of a gambling addict from Sheffield. Jack Ritchie died in 2017 and now a coroner has ruled that his inquest should consider whether the state failed in its duty to protect him. Jack's parents have successfully argued that the inquest should consider the same human rights law that is applied when someone dies in police custody.
