From where I'm based in the South of our patch, I travelled to the north of the area we cover, to Northallerton, to report on charities in Ryedale which fear they'll lose funding that was promised to them before a shake-up of local government in the county. The new North Yorkshire Council is reassessing almost 3 million pounds worth of grants awarded by the former Ryedale District Council.
