I covered the story of documentary makers who've been trying to track down the man who played a post-apocalyptic traffic warden in the 1984 film 'Threads' which was based in Sheffield. The warden appeared as an extra in the TV drama for just 20 seconds - but his striking image was used to publicise its release. I watched Threads at the start of the pandemic and it is thoroughly terrified me!
