Trainees at Doncaster Sheffield Airport are learning how to become air traffic controllers using a simulator computer programme as passenger planes are not set to return until April 2028. New recruits are learning how to coordinate the safe movement of aircraft in the sky and on the ground using the simulator which accurately reflects the airport.
